Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

Job duties include: Middlepay Inc. in Berkeley, CA is seeking Senior Data Scientist(s) to build a next generation NFT aggregator by leveraging data and statistical methods. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of applied mathematics and quantitative analysis to perform the following duties and responsibilities:

Job responsibilities and duties include:

Lead quantitative analysis and assist junior team in efforts to understand user intent, behavior, and product trends.

Act as subject matter expert to guide methodology and present key insights to stakeholders and senior leaders to make key recommendations.

Provide mentorship and support to junior data scientists.

Facilitate communication and project coordination with cross functional teams to gather and review data as required for product needs.

Build and maintain full-cycle experiments, reports, and dashboards using Python/R, SQL, and other scripting and statistical tools.

Independently produce designs for growth strategies such as user incentives and drive cross-functional teams on alignment and execution.

Report against our goals, design essential business and product metrics, and build executive-facing dashboards.

Manage the development, implementation, and testing of frameworks to ensure that we operate with the highest level of scientific rigor.

Minimum requirements: Master’s degree in Finance, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, or a related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained.

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:

SQL
ETL
A/B Testing
Demonstrated experience using Python or R
Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, and Data Studio

Travel information: No travel required. Work from home benefit available.
Salary: $151,736 per year
